Since 1983, we have served UC Santa Barbara and the local Santa Barbara area in multiple entrepeneurial and educational endeavors.

Our Mission

Developing Skills, Building Futures

At LBA, our mission is to prepare the next generation of professionals via workshops, guest speakers, major professional events, and collaborations with local and national organizations, coupled with a strong sense of community through volunteering, collaborations with other campus organizations, and social gatherings.

As a chapter of the United Latino Students Association, we help promote and enhance an extensive network of students and future entrepreneurs to ensure their success post-graduation.

Growing in Community

LBA is an organization where you can enjoy the wonderful coastal California weather and some carne asada at a barbeque, network at local professional mixers, then be recruited by top companies in the finance, tech, non-profit sectors, all within the same week!

Professional Develeopment

There are many skills that can prove useful to our general members, so they can succeed regardless of their field of study and/or work they choose to pursue.

Community Service

Giving back to the local community is a valuable endeavor that establishes relationships with local residents, and also providing assistance to those in need.

Social Engagement

By connecting with peers and other organizations at UCSB, we create a welcoming culture that invites members to bond at a personal level with people around them.
